Bacalhau à Lagareiro (Roasted Cod with Olive Oil)
Ingredients:
- 2 salted cod fillets
- 4 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 potatoes, boiled and smashed
- Parsley, olives, salt
Instructions:
- Soak cod overnight, changing water several times.
- Roast potatoes and cod with garlic and olive oil at 400°F until golden.
- Top with parsley and olives before serving.

Polvo à Lagareiro (Octopus in Olive Oil)
Ingredients:
- 1 octopus (cleaned)
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Potatoes, parsley, salt
Instructions:
- Boil octopus until tender. Let cool and cut into pieces.
- Roast with potatoes, olive oil, and garlic at 425°F.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Amêijoas à Bulhão Pato (Clams with Vinho Verde)
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs fresh clams
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine (Vinho Verde)
- 1/4 cup olive oil, lemon juice, cilantro
Instructions:
- Clean clams thoroughly. Sauté garlic in olive oil.
- Add clams and wine. Cover and steam until clams open.
- Drizzle lemon and sprinkle cilantro before serving.

Açorda (Portuguese Bread Soup)
Ingredients:
- 4 slices stale bread
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Hot water or broth, cilantro, salt
Instructions:
- Crush garlic with salt and sauté in olive oil.
- Add broth and bread. Simmer until soft.
- Add cilantro and serve with poached egg if desired.

Pão de Azeite (Olive Oil Bread)
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup warm water
Instructions:
- Mix dry ingredients, then add olive oil and water to form dough.
- Let rise 1 hour. Shape and bake at 375°F for 25–30 min.
- Cool before slicing and serve with olive oil.
